Hotel Terme Internazionale

The pools are large and the thermal water is warm. There's a helpful, friendly staff, and the food is freshly made every day and delicious. The hotel is right in the centre, with high-quality events for all age groups. Rooms have an antique Italian look but are very comfortable. It's the best hotel in Abano Terme, and I highly recommend it for couples, families, or groups of friends.

The hot pool water is so relaxing, and the food is delicious. Lunch and dinner are served at the table, which was a treat. Breakfast was okay, though it could be better. The Gala dinner with music was fun too. These things are included in the room price. Mud treatments and massages cost extra. For me, the rooms are really getting old, even if that might be considered a style. At least the stay is good value, so don't expect too much of the rooms. I was excited about a 55 minutes massage that cost 55€, half the room rate. What a disappointment. The young, tall, dark-haired girl with piercings started 15 minutes late, then finished 10 minutes early. Instead of 55 minutes, I got only 30, but paid for 55. She didn't put on relaxing music, and mostly just moved her hands up and down my body. I noticed she was using her phone with one hand while doing my "massage." The worst part was her eating grapes and spitting the seeds into the sink during my back "massage." It was a disaster, and I didn't enjoy it at all. Avoid this girl for treatments, it's a waste of money. Choose someone else.

The pool is quite big and has a striking outdoor section, while the sauna is small. Breakfast was okay, and the location is good. The staff weren't especially kind, but on balance they weren't bad. Fine for a night, but no more.

The dinner and music night were fantastic, and the staff were so polite. It seemed suited to young couples and older families. The downside was how crowded the swimming pool got on Saturday afternoon.
