Hotel Tritone Terme

The food was nice, everything was very clean, and the parking is covered. What really made the stay, though, was the staff. They were polite and helpful whatever came up. I left a bracelet in the bathroom, and after we’d checked out they found it and offered to ship it to my home. The hotel itself is very beautiful, and the service was exceptional. We’ll definitely return someday. I can only recommend it.

The pools, saunas, and quiet spots around the spa were lovely and well kept, and the area never seemed crowded. We both felt refreshed after the treatments, which were among the best mineral water and mud treatments we’ve had in our many visits to Abano Terme. The spa is spacious and varied, with Anila at the helm and Michela, a highly professional physiotherapist. Meals were another bright spot. Chef Massimo’s food was fresh, seasonal, full of flavor, and never too heavy. Breakfast and dinner both felt nourishing, with good ingredients and no unnecessary fuss. Francesco kept the dining room running smoothly and pleasantly, and Sommelier Mirco’s recommendations paired well with the food. We also saw Luca, the head of the Front Office, handle a few after-effects of renovation work. He took care of them in a way that left us barely aware of the work and not disturbed by it. In conversations with Walter Poli, the General Manager, we got the impression that the hotel is thoughtfully managed. The staff seemed well trained, things ran smoothly, and there was a real effort to improve the guest experience. Hotel Tritone in Abano Terme strikes a nice balance between comfort, wellness, and professional service. It’s a calm, elegant place for a relaxing break, with good food and excellent thermal treatments. We’ll be back. Good value for the money, and highly recommended.

The breakfast buffet was hard to match, and the facilities are beautiful, luxurious, and impeccably looked after. A couple of things did get in the way: some key staff members didn’t speak English, and getting to sightseeing spots was difficult, though there’s a good bus to Padua. We also tried to book an excursion the hotel advertised. Staff spent hours trying to reach the tour operator, then told us it wouldn’t be running, so we lost an afternoon.

There’s a lot here for a resort stay, including full board if you want it. The food has been excellent so far, with an appetizers bar and a full menu to choose from. Dinner is dressy, and they offer entertainment afterward. Service has been exceptional, and everyone we’ve met has been friendly and helpful. I’d recommend the hotel without hesitation. The spa is superb, with two saunas, two steam rooms, an ice and snow room, and several differently themed places to rest. It’s a shared facility for men and women, so nudity in the sauna isn’t unusual. There are also extensive therapeutic mud facilities, fitting for an area known for thermal water and mud treatments. Outside, two pools use thermal water and have different kinds of water jet enclosures. The larger one is probably about 50 meters long and good for swimming, plus there’s an indoor pool. The rooms are roomy, beautifully designed, and very clean. The king size beds have quality linens, comfortable pillows, and a great mattress. Bathrooms have two sinks, comfortable showers, and fluffy towels. Everything is spotless. The grounds and interiors are all exceptionally well maintained. The owners and management seem to have plenty of hospitality experience, and it looks like the building and facilities were carefully designed by skilled architects and interior designers. The property appears to have been renovated recently. This is a spectacular hotel, really more of a resort, and it can be all-inclusive if that’s what you choose.
