Riccardo was especially friendly and went out of his way to help us. The staff in general were very helpful. We just wish we’d known to bring our own towels and swimming caps for the pool. The pool was very warm, and the tap water in the room and shower was so hot you could probably burn yourself. We paid for a basic double, which felt dated and disappointing. The AC didn’t work, so we got a free upgrade to a nicer room, but I think that room is what the price should have bought us in the first place.

We only go there for aquafitness and use those services. It’s centrally located and convenient for everything. The pool lockers need cleaning more often; the smell makes that pretty obvious.

The outdoor pool was fine, as were the common areas and restaurant, but the indoor pool was too small. The breakfast room was tiny and crowded, though the food was okay. The staff were pleasant and polite, unlike the property itself. I won’t stay at Hotel Terme Bologna in Abano again. At check-in I learned I had to pay for a bathrobe and pool towel. Our room was very narrow, and the bathroom even tighter, with the bidet taking up the same space as the shower tub. There wasn’t a shelf anywhere for a comb or toilet paper, and no outlet to charge a phone. The heater didn’t work and took two days to fix. The air conditioner leaked water onto the balcony, which nobody cleaned. We couldn’t use the sauna because it wasn’t clean.
