Borgo Majella by Rentbeat

We were lucky to meet the owner, who was wonderful and very helpful. It was an amazing stay surrounded by so much beauty. I'd definitely come back, and I'd recommend others treat themselves to the experience too.

The house was only 17 degrees Celsius when we arrived, and there were no extra blankets. Internet access didn't work, the kitchen had too little cutlery and no tea towels, and we couldn't get through to anyone on the support number. We heard construction noise every day starting around 7:30 in the morning, with trucks, excavators, and jackhammers. Dogs barked at night, and on Sunday there was a children's birthday party with loud music. It's unfair to charge the regular price while all this noise is going on. The location is beautiful and deserves five stars, but we can't recommend the house under this management.

I wouldn't recommend it. There were bugs inside, construction noise bothered us, we ran out of water, and the Wi-Fi wasn't working. I'm trying to get a refund, but nobody is responding.

The outdoor area was a real plus, though you need to keep food covered or the cats will jump on the table and steal your dinner. The rooms were clean and equipped with what we needed. We found a few spiders, but with greenery all around the building, that seems hard to avoid. We were worried at first about there being no air conditioning, but it turned out not to be a problem. We stayed in the Nonna Assunta Apartment for three days and didn't see any staff on site. That made it feel like a familiar home, which was nice, but it also meant relying on the outside agency for information, and they only answered on WhatsApp. We asked where to get coffee capsules, since the supermarket didn't have them. The agency said we could buy them on site, but we couldn't find anyone to help. Overall, we were satisfied.
