The staff made this a really enjoyable stay, especially Chiara, Emanuele, and Noemi, who were all lovely and helpful. We had a comfortable bed, and the room temperature was just right. As an American used to bigger rooms and strong AC, I expected the room to be tiny and the AC to be poor, but it was actually a decent size and felt comfortable. We used the third sofa bed for our son, who joined us on our third night. Chiara knew he was coming and asked if we wanted it made up, which she took care of. The shower had great water pressure. Breakfast was included, with eggs, salad, pastries, cereal, coffee, and juices. The location was convenient, close to Sempione Park and a lively outdoor dining and cafe area where we had dinner on Saturday. A short cab ride gets you to all the main areas of Milan. The hotel’s direct line to a cab company was especially useful, as it got us a taxi much quicker than Uber or Lyft. I highly recommend the Lancaster and would gladly stay again if I get to visit Milan.

The breakfast was excellent, with fresh food and a good selection, served in a lovely dining room by attentive staff. Everyone was helpful with restaurant advice and suggestions for things to see, and they marked out walking, tram, and metro routes on a map. Special thanks to Federico and Matteo, who quickly answered my emails about the airport and getting to the hotel from the railway station. I found that very helpful. We stayed for 4 nights in May 26. The hotel has a lovely, almost old-fashioned style and a good location. It’s not quite central, but the Duomo and shopping areas are an easy walk away; take a tram or the Metro for other places. Our standard room was more than adequate, with a very comfortable bed and a very good shower. I’m sure anyone staying here would be very satisfied.

Federico kindly welcomed us for an early check-in, and all the staff were accommodating. It felt like a 4 star hotel, a discreet yet grand gem we were lucky to find. The place was clean and comfortable, with all amenities and a complementary mini bar. The tram is just a few minutes’ walk away. Highly recommend!

We were so happy with the Lancaster. We’d been struggling to find a room late at night until we called, and on arrival a very kind man gave us amazing service and some snacks because we were hungry. The rooms were lovely and comfortable, and breakfast service was impeccable.

Everyone here is warm and friendly, and the hotel itself is charming. Breakfast was very good with something for everyone. It’s a quiet spot with no noise at night, yet the castle, Duomo, and other sights are only a short walk away, and a nearby tram goes farther. The shutters keep the rooms dark after bedtime. I stayed in January, when Milan was very cold, but the hotel was warm and lovely. I’d recommend it and stay again on my next trip to Milan.
