We found it a great quiet spot out in the country, away from town, with friendly people and good craft beer. It also made an ideal base for our bike trip along the Po River to Mantova.

We had lunch here for a ceremony, at this farmhouse and brewery. The food was excellent, portions were generous, and everything was clearly cooked very well. Our table service was attentive, though the two people who greeted us were less welcoming. Apart from that, all was fine.

The owner welcomed me so warmly and took time to show me what makes the place special and explain the care behind the work. That personal touch gave me the feeling of being a guest, not just a customer, and brought back a kind of kindness I remember from years ago. The farmhouse itself is beautiful and well kept, and the setting is splendid too. I came across Agriturismo La Morosina almost by chance while traveling through the Po Valley just outside Milan, and it turned out to be an authentic little gem. For me, the human warmth adds something beyond the quality of the place. If I’m in the area again, I’ll stop by. A lovely choice for anyone looking for a bit of heart along with quality.
