Termini Guesthouse

I loved looking out onto the street from our fourth-floor windows. We were close to Termini train and Metro stations, and could walk to the main sights, including the Colosseum, Forum, Trevi Fountain, and Spanish Steps. The Metro is there if you'd rather not walk. Our rooms were spacious and clean, with WiFi, and breakfast was lovely every day. The communal fridge came in handy too. Thanks so much for having us, we really enjoyed our stay.

Make sure you don't mix this place up with Termini B&B, which is on the other side of the train terminal and farther away. We learned that the hard way, arriving on a cold, rainy evening and having to walk through the pouring rain to the right address. The location is handy for Roma Termini, including buses, trains, the metro, and the airport bus, with shops and places to eat nearby. The apartment has three separate guest rooms and a small breakfast room. Rooms are modern and clean, each with a bathroom and toilet. There's a lift, though you have to go up a short flight of steps from the ground floor entrance to reach it. We stayed four nights and had a few gripes. Breakfast was included, but it was simple and the same each day: one croissant, jam and Nutella, a glass of juice, and a cup of coffee. Breakfast was only served at 8:30 am, when the host came over to prepare it. If that time didn't work, she could give you a voucher for a croissant and coffee at a nearby cafe. Twice we had icy cold showers in the morning because the water heater was down and couldn't be fixed sooner. I hope other guests don't run into the same problem.

The clean facilities were nicely presented. The fourth-floor flat has three separate suites, plus a shared kitchen and dining area. Our hosts were lovely and welcoming, and their advice and local knowledge really helped make our time in Rome. We enjoyed staying here and would highly recommend it.

Our room was fresh and comfortable, and the AC was a relief after the very hot June days. With only three quiet rooms and a shared breakfast area, the guesthouse has a private B&B feel. It's a converted fourth-floor flat with a lift, just a short walk from the train station, and handy for getting around the city on foot or by public transport. The neighborhood is multicultural and a little gritty, but felt lively and safe. Emanuela and Antonio gave us a warm welcome and useful tips. Breakfast was nicer thanks to Alessandra's cappuccino and conversation, and their English is much better than our Italian. Molto grazie to our Termini hosts for making our Rome visit so pleasant. We're glad we stayed at the Termini Guesthouse and would recommend it to friends.
