4Spa Resort

We found the food disappointing, and the service was extremely bad. My salmon carpaccio was a slice of smoked salmon with a spoonful of cream cheese on top. My friends' vegetables were burnt, and breakfast was mediocre at best. The spa the hotel advertises so heavily wasn't included in the price, and the fitness center stayed closed throughout our visit without warning. The jacuzzi wasn't even warm, and the area smelled more like a public swimming pool than a spa. The toilet in our room was broken, with the flush button fallen off. For a 4-star hotel, the standard was far below what we'd expected. It overpromises and underdelivers in every possible way, and wasn't worth the money. I wouldn't stay here again.

The rooms were kind of nice, but breakfast could have been much better. Reception staff were very lazy and told us nothing about the hotel or spa. We later found out the pool was closed over the weekend, so we booked a Monday 7am swim, the only available time according to the man at reception. When we got there, the lights were off and we couldn't find any staff. We returned to the main desk and eventually learned the pool was still under maintenance. We'd have had to wait a couple of hours, which wasn't an option for us.

The rooms and the hotel itself made me think of a hospital. We had construction noise during breakfast, and our parents' room smelled of sewerage. You also have to pay extra to use the gym or indoor pool, which I've never seen at any hotel in the world. This is nowhere near a 4-star place, 2 stars at most. Definitely never again!

The hotel and its location were very nice, close to all the places we wanted to visit. We were happy with our stay, and the staff were attentive, checking in with us regularly to see if everything was going well. But the shuttle service offered by the property was a terrible experience. The driver was late, then charged us 40 euro for a very short stretch, and didn't bring a card machine, so we had to pay entirely in cash. Unacceptable!!! Jasmine
