The room itself was fine for the price, and I have no complaints about it. The noise was annoying at times, though that’s typical in central Rome. The staff were disorganized and communication was poor. On arrival, no one could let us in because our contact was tied up on an important phone call; luckily a stranger came and let us inside. The only employee helping us spoke neither Italian nor English, so checking in was a struggle. Later we found we’d been assigned the wrong room, but thankfully they let us stay in it. Another time we returned to find the master keys in the door and our room door wide open. Nothing was stolen, thankfully, but I didn’t see any employee there.

The rooms were cosy, and the staff were kind and very helpful. They cleaned every day.

I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Rats were in the inner courtyard, and the shared kitchen has nowhere to sit and eat. There’s no cutlery, microwave, or coffee maker, and reception is set up in the kitchen too. The rooms inside each space aren't separated by doors.
