The fish restaurant nearby is the best thing here, really not to be missed. There’s a large parking area close by, and I understand the venue is popular for receptions. But the beach has big pebbles and can be dangerous without good shoes. There’s no breakfast, though you can get coffee and other things at a nearby bar. It’s also been a long time since some maintenance was done.

We waited two and a half hours without getting any food, then gave up and left. The waiter had first told us the buffet would take 30 minutes, and forgot our drink order twice. We paid for the drinks we’d had, but they were the most expensive part of a meal with some of the worst service I’ve experienced. It looks like a luxury place, but in reality it was a disaster. 😡

We really enjoyed the view from the terraces, especially the one on the top floor, where we could see Mount Etna. The B&B is on the second floor of a charming building used for receptions, and has several terraces overlooking the sea. Our room was Libeccio, spacious and comfortable, with a large oval window looking out at the blue sky and sea. Riccardo kindly let us check in several hours early, and Santina always greeted us with a smile. She also made excellent breakfasts, with lots of both sweet and savory choices. The property sits right by the sea, surrounded by the greenery of Acireale's Timpa.
