B&B la spiaggetta di Stazzo

Breakfast on the balcony was delicious, and the bay view made it even nicer. There’s private parking behind the property. The hosts were both kind and spoke good English. It’s a peaceful place where you can properly relax, and a handy base for nearby sights. Our room and bathroom were roomy and very clean, with air-conditioning, a large mirrored wardrobe, and another big mirror in the bathroom.

The area was so calm that it felt like a real break from everyday noise. Each morning started with homemade pastries and local specialties, all delicious and nicely presented. The owners were attentive and made us feel like family. Our room had a lovely mix of rustic style and modern comforts, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We arrived to a cozy, welcoming B&B, and left already hoping to come back. It was a stay that stayed with us.

We went near the end of winter and found the B&B very clean, with a good bed. Breakfast was fine: yoghurt, a small croissant, biscuits, and coffee from a machine. The owner was kind and helpful, even driving us to Catania airport for much less than the taxi drivers who had taken us there and couldn’t find the B&B. He also helped us buy train tickets and sort out a few other things. A good place to stay outside summer too. I recommend it.

Roberto got in touch on WhatsApp before we arrived to check our timing and send the exact GPS address. He met us as arranged and opened the gate to the parking area. Finding a parking spot in Sicily can be hard even in small towns, so having one with the room was a real help. We stayed three nights in February. The room was spacious and spotless, with comfortable bedding, and the bathroom was just as large and clean. Each morning Rosalia served us breakfast on the balcony overlooking the sea, at the time we chose. There were sweet and savory options, and she was friendly and attentive. We had a very pleasant stay, though the church bells do start ringing at 6 a.m.!
