The location is very central, which is handy, but the streets around it are really, really narrow, and the church next door rings its bells far too often. Still, we always found parking close by, even with our station wagon, and managed the tiny streets and hairpin turns just fine. The accommodation was great, with everything new and well maintained. The host was very accommodating. They didn’t speak English, but WhatsApp and hand gestures worked well enough.
A really nice, quiet place, and the owner was very kind and helpful with anything we needed. There was air conditioning in the rooms, plus a fridge, freezer, oven, cooker, and two bathrooms. What more do you need? We’d definitely visit again.
You can easily head a few kilometres out to Taormina, Giardini Naxos, or Mount Etna, and Acireale’s centre is also close enough for a stroll. The house was stunning and ideal for a family. Best wishes from all of us to the very kind Gaetano.
The location was great, near the main street, restaurants, and bars, and we had no problems with anything during our six days. It’s a comfortable, very nice house that works well for five people. There are two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a terrace, two clotheslines, and a well-equipped kitchen. Highly recommended. 👍🏼
The centre is just a five-minute walk away, and there’s a reserved parking spot only steps from the house. We stayed for a weekend with two friends and had a wonderful time. It’s a lovely detached house, recently renovated, immaculately clean, and carefully maintained. The host was incredibly kind and available for whatever we needed, looking after us from arrival through departure. We’ll definitely be back!
