La casa del sole "tra l'Etna e il mare"

The balcony gives you a chance to watch Etna erupt if you’re lucky, as we were! The apartment was lovely and made us feel at home by the sea. The garage was a big plus, with room for any car, whether long, high, wide, or small. The hosts were polite, kind, and helpful, shared lots of information about local attractions, and were always happy to help. They even greeted us on arrival with a sealed aperitivo they’d prepared because of Covid. I honestly can’t find fault with La Casa Del Sole. I’ll definitely recommend it to friends and family. We had a warm welcome from the very kind and helpful owners. The house is spacious, charming, clean, and well furnished, with basic necessities provided. Everything is functional and well equipped, and it’s meticulously maintained. From the balcony, you can dine while enjoying the beautiful views of Mount Etna and the lemon grove. The seafront is a five-minute walk away, and the neighborhood is quiet. The large garage is in a closed courtyard. Thank you so much, Cettina and Roberto, for being so kind!

We found the furnishings meticulously maintained and the location excellent, with the sea close by and a beautiful view of Mount Etna. The cleanliness was impeccable, better than many multi-star hotels. The owners were very kind and helpful, and their attention to guests was top-notch. They’d provided snacks, water, maps, books, coffee, and so many other little things that made the stay easier and more enjoyable, without the stress of having to go to the supermarket as soon as we arrived. I recommend it.

The owners were so courteous and helpful, especially Cettina. The rooms are roomy, clean, and welcoming, and the place is furnished with care down to the smallest details. It’s about 200 meters from the sea, with good value for money and an easy drive of under an hour to places like Mount Etna, Catania, and Taormina. Couldn’t ask for a better stay.
