Made In Sicily Santa Tecla

We booked three nights at Made in Sicily after looking for somewhere near Sicily's attractions that would still feel peaceful. The area had plenty of street parking, though I wasn't sure we'd chosen well when we first arrived. That changed as soon as we stepped inside. It felt like our Sicilian home. Guiseppe was a wonderful host, always happy to help. He made generous, delicious breakfasts and was on hand with day trip ideas or calls to local companies for us, as visitors who don't speak Italian. Starting the day on the balcony was lovely, and we enjoyed ending it there with a nightcap too. Our room was clean and comfortable. There are also two excellent seafood restaurants nearby, with generous portions at reasonable prices. We'd absolutely stay at Made in Sicily again next time we're back. Thank you.

Some of our best time in Italy was spent here. Giuseppe was thoughtful, kind, and resourceful, and he cooks well too. His knowledge stretches from the coast between Syracuse and Messina to the whole Etna area. Many thanks, Giuseppe!

After years living in Sicily and visiting more than 60 countries, we know when a place is a good find. Giuseppi certainly deserves 10 stars: the beds were comfortable, the shower was great, and breakfast was excellent.

The breakfasts were the best we've ever had, and we travel a lot. Giuseppe serves them himself, and he's full of suggestions for places to visit. He's friendly, professional, and always ready to help guests with what they need. We had a beautiful, spacious room in a quiet place that's carefully designed down to the details. It's also a great base for exploring the whole east coast. Thanks to Giuseppe, it started to feel like a second home, and we're already planning a return.
