A few local amenities are available, including a decent small supermarket. For a short stay in an authentic Sicilian town, it’s a nice option. You’ll probably want a car.

The gardens were well cared for, and the pool was a nice size. We spent a week in Casa Etna with my wife and our two children, and really enjoyed Residence Trinacria. The area is peaceful and relaxing, close to the seafront, and the place was very clean and looked after. The view of the Etna vulcano is astonishing. Elvira and the other hosts were welcoming and always available to help. It’s also well connected to Catania, the vulcano, and Taormina. I’ll definitely come back, thank you Elvira.

The staff were really kind and helpful. It’s in a great spot between Stazzo and Tecla, with both an easy walk away. An ideal place to stay if you're diving with Mario Faro Diving.

We spent a week here and liked the clean, tidy apartment and the great pool for the kids. It lost a star because there wasn’t a pull-out bed for them, and they don’t sleep well sharing. The coast location is handy for the different sites, and the views of Etna are amazing.
