Athena Palace Hotel

Contrada Intavolata was new to us and felt untouched by time, which turned out to be a nice surprise. We stayed one night with my husband and children, using the hotel as a base. The staff welcomed us warmly and were helpful, and our room was clean and spacious. There was a good range of things at breakfast. The hotel is near the sea, but the path down is quite steep, so we drove. After a relaxing swim in the pool, we tried the lounge bar's delicious treats for lunch. There's also a restaurant with tables in a very elegant setting, though we didn't get to eat there this time. We'd like to come back for it, and I'd recommend the place to anyone in the area.

Breakfast was plentiful and varied, with fresh, good quality food, and everyone on staff was friendly and keen to help. The hotel is in a handy spot for getting around and unwinding. Our room was spacious and clean, and the whole place was well looked after. We had a very pleasant stay, and the staff helped make it so. We'd happily return and recommend it to others looking for a well-serviced hotel.

We spent a lovely week here with our daughter. Each morning we had breakfast by the pool with a sea view, which was a wonderful way to start the day. The property was spotless and carefully maintained, and the staff were kind, cheerful, and always available. We'd gladly come back and recommend it.

We stayed on August 6, 2025, two adults and two children, and felt right at home thanks to the kind, helpful owners and staff. Our quadruple room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The hotel was very clean in general, and breakfast had both sweet and savory options. Thank you for making us feel welcome. We'd recommend it and will be back. Best wishes.
