New Year’s Eve dinner and New Year’s Day lunch were a Fantozzian mess. I honestly don’t know how to describe it. It seemed to me they had thrown the dinner together at the last minute. They spoke of being sold out, but there were just us 18, including children, and two other tables, which didn’t even show up. A total letdown. The only ones who deserve credit are the two young guys who did their best to keep the evening going 😞

I’ve come back to this hotel for spa treatments, so this was my second visit. It’s only steps from the spa. Lorenzo and Giuseppina run the place, and they were very kind and flexible about our requests. Giuseppina is an excellent cook. I recommend staying here.

It felt like home, with a warm family atmosphere. We had three days of full board at exceptional value. For full-board guests like me, check-in is in the morning, and you choose that day’s menu each morning. The food was excellent, and the owners were knowledgeable, friendly, and ready to help with anything. The facility is new and still has room to reach its full potential, but you really do feel at home. It’s well situated for both the spa, which you can reach on foot or by shuttle if you’d rather not drive, and the sea. There’s no day or night bustle, so it’s easy to relax and enjoy some privacy. Cleaning and fresh linens every morning were impeccable. Give it a try.

I booked one night because my parents needed a place to stay while they attended a wedding. The staff weren’t helpful, and insisted my parents had to come back by midnight because that was the check-in time. I was willing to pick them up at 9:30 PM to check in, then drop them back around 1:00 AM. I’ve never known a hotel where guests couldn’t leave and return after midnight, so I wouldn’t recommend it. The sheets and floors were dirty as well.
