The short dirt road up to the entrance could use better upkeep. That aside, the owners were extremely kind and helpful, and the charming, well-maintained pool was a highlight. It's a beautiful villa in the Umbrian countryside and a great base for day trips to the region's main tourist villages. Definitely worth a try.

The staff are genuinely kind and helpful, but the access road is in bad shape and that needs to be made clear when booking. A low car could have serious trouble, and fixing the 50 meters that are barely passable would help avoid damage to the oil pan or tires. The brambles along the side need cutting too, or guests should be told they need an off-road vehicle. The small property doesn't have a view. Before you enter, there's a large hay shed with an asbestos roof, though that's something you find in the countryside throughout Italy anyway. For me, the weekend wasn't worth the risk of breaking the oil pan.

Cinzia cooks divinely, and her husband Gregorio is a wonderful person. Take the advice and buy their products, you won't regret it. The property is very peaceful, with a lovely pool and a large oak nearby that's perfect for lunch. We'll definitely be back.

The Astolfi family were so kind and ready to meet every request. I rarely find that level of care. We spent two dreamlike days here with our family in September 2019, surrounded by peaceful nature. The beautifully restored farmhouse is clean and elegant, with a lovely pool and a welcoming family atmosphere. I recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
