The room was bright, roomy, and spotless, and the view out the window was perfect. We found the hosts both kind and ready to help. Such a lovely spot in the Sicilian Highlands.

The only real snag was dinner: there’s just one bar serving food, and it only had hamburgers. The hostess brought me a pizza, though it arrived pretty cold. Otherwise, this was a peaceful place to stay along the via Francigena, with an impeccable room, a lovely hostess, and a very good breakfast and drinks counter.

The owner was so welcoming and helpful, and the town has a real charm to it. I had a very clean, comfortable ensuite room, plus facilities for making breakfast. I stayed here while walking the Magna Via Francigena. Many thanks.
