Tenuta Lanza Il Mulino

The breakfast was a highlight, with fresh pastries, cheese, homemade jams, and local food showing off Sicilian flavors. The rooms were clean and comfortable, decorated with a rustic feel but had modern comforts too. We really liked how peaceful the countryside felt, with the olive groves and beautiful scenery around Tenuta Lanza Il Mulino. The dog and cat were adorable and came over for pets. The hosts welcomed us warmly and made sure we had what we needed. It was a lovely break from city life, and we enjoyed exploring the area.

Valeria and owner Giuseppe deserve a special thanks. The staff made us feel at home, and our room was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. We had a wonderful stay and loved the location. I’d definitely recommend it.

The mountain view is lovely, and the pool is absolutely beautiful. We stayed for two nights, but felt let down after booking because of what seemed like fake reviews. There wasn’t really any service, and no one spoke English, so we didn’t feel welcomed. The room was okay, though the shower was very small. The food wasn’t worth €35 per person. One night we had cheese, pasta, and sausage, which was okay. The next meal was fries, pasta, and some meat, and was disappointing.

We spent four nights at Tenuta Lanza in our caravan in February, and were the only guests. The property felt secure, with large electric gates, orange trees, a pool, and a covered place to relax in summer. We were even allowed to pick and eat some oranges. The hot water boiler only worked intermittently. Giuseppe helped by giving us a key to a hotel room so we could wash and shower with hot water.
