Albergo Rondo

The room and bathroom were unclean, and the bed was full of actual live bugs of different kinds. The shower booth felt claustrophobic, and breakfast was a joke. It was very noisy with lots of teenage groups, and hotel staff did nothing to quiet them even after we complained. The neighboring hotel was like a disco until 4am. The staff don't speak any language other than Italian. Avoid!

It's clean and nice, and the staff are very helpful. The place is fairly quiet and close to the city center without being right in the middle of the nightlife, which would have been very noisy. Breakfast is modest and standard. There aren't many options for vegetarians who don't eat eggs.

So relaxing!

The building is lovely, and the panoramic elevator and free private parking are real pluses. The staff were kind and helpful, and the location is excellent. Inside, though, things felt quite neglected, and both the rooms and meals need improvement. A little work could turn this into a gem. I hope it gets that chance.
