Agerola is peaceful and away from the bustle of Positano, Amalfi, Capri and Naples. There are a few local shops and you can try proper Italian food, though some merchants only speak Italian. It's cooler up at this elevation, so you may want a jacket in the evening. If you're hoping to visit Amalfi and Positano, renting a scooter is probably a good idea. The stay itself was one of my best in Italy. It had been recently renovated, was clean and well equipped, and Anna was very helpful. She even arranged a ride for us to the bus stop, about 2 km away. The backyard was a real highlight, nice for a couple of beers or dinner outside.

Really friendly and helpful host, and the breakfast buffet was a great choice. The homemade cooking was great too. A lovely place for a holiday.

The apartment was modern and really clean, right in the center with a delicious restaurant next door. The host was kind and took the time to explain everything calmly. Really good, highly recommend!
