I loved every minute here. The bed was the best we've had on our trip, and the room was beautiful and clean, which matters to me because I'm fussy. Breakfast was wonderful too. Paulo goes above and beyond to make your stay just right. His BnB is in a lovely little town on the Amalfi coast, up the hill and away from all the madness, with great amenities. It's also where the Walk of the Gods begins. The walk is stunning, and there are lovely restaurants and cafes around town.

Paolo sent detailed bus and ferry timetables and pretty much planned our days for us. He and his daughter were so friendly, with lots of suggestions for what to do and where to eat. Our room was lovely, with a great private terrace, and we enjoyed the breakfast too. There's free private parking just around the corner. We had an amazing stay at Paolos B&B and would definitely return. Everything was perfect.

We stayed for two nights after booking through Airbnb. Paolo was a fantastic host, kept in close touch, and gave us lots of recommendations. The room was just as described, very clean, and had excellent blackout blinds and a private ensuite bathroom. Other guests were there, but we never heard a thing. He also let us keep some things in the fridge. Breakfast was delicious and so filling: yogurt, pastries, cereal, juice, coffee, and tea. The croissant was the biggest I've ever seen, and I could never finish everything laid out. There's free parking in a private lot just up the street. It's a great base for the Path of the Gods, whose starting point is a two-minute walk away. Public buses also stop nearby. I'd recommend staying here!

The room itself was okay, but the mattress was a disaster. We can't relate to the positive reviews at all. From the emails before arrival through to departure, the host was extremely unfriendly. We got no communication or support. As far as we can tell, we hadn't done anything wrong, so we kept wondering what we might have done. We've stayed in all kinds of places around the world, but this was a first for us. The atmosphere was unpleasant, and we were glad to leave. He should consider whether this is the right job for him and remember who is providing a service to whom.

Paolo is a true gentleman and an awesome host. He went out of his way to make sure our stay was perfect, and nothing seemed too much trouble. When we missed the last bus back, he even picked us up. There’s free parking and excellent facilities, and it’s a great base for walking the Path of the Gods and exploring the Amalfi coast.
