Dinner at BB Santa Lucia was so good. Mario does the cooking, and some of the tomatoes come from their own garden. We had fresh fruit each morning, sometimes picked from their trees. We wanted to try other small local businesses too, so we ate somewhere different each night, but we could happily have had dinner there every evening. We were nervous about visiting Italy for the first time since we barely spoke Italian, and we're both tall and not small. The family made us feel completely welcome. Mario was our main point of contact, and we met his mom, though we didn't spend much time with his dad. The rooms were clean, the bed felt sturdy, and breakfast was just right. Agerola itself had the sweet small-town feel we hoped for. The B&B is up in the mountains, so the drive down takes about 30 minutes, but that didn't bother us. You need to expect hills and walking around Amalfi anyway. BB Santa Lucia was more than I could have hoped for. We really hope to come back.

A quiet spot in Agerola with a magnificent view. Our room was spacious, comfortable, modern, and very clean. Mario cooked a delicious dinner and lovely breakfasts, and was a great source of local tips. Really good value.

It was lovely coming back from a day of hiking or sightseeing to dinner already waiting on the terrace, with the sunset and ocean in view. The food was fresh and delicious, and our room was spacious, clean, and practical. Mario and his dad made the stay especially enjoyable. We had a car, but took the bus to and from Amalfi from the terminal, which worked out well. We always had a seat and never had to wait for another bus because the first one was full. Highly recommend.

The setting is lovely, and the rooms are really comfortable. You're up above the Amalfi Coast, around 700m away, so it's cooler, and the bus makes it easy to get around. Don't Vincenso and family are great. One of the best places I've stayed, highly recommend.

Such a great B&B. The family are friendly, breakfast is good, and the rooms are just right. And that view from the room and terrace, wow.
