My husband’s company was the only thing that made the evening pleasant. For what we paid, the apartment was in unacceptable condition and the value just wasn’t there. I strongly advise against staying here. The jacuzzi on the terrace was supposed to be the main attraction, but it was empty. Staff showed us how to fill it, then we waited four hours and the water still barely reached our ankles. When we reported it the next day, the staff member who had shown us around said it was probably broken and vaguely promised a discount on a future stay. A month later, we still haven’t received a refund or compensation. I’d booked this place as a Christmas Eve surprise for my husband because the website offered a “Love You” package with romantic decorations and balloons. I specifically requested it, but there were no decorations or special touches when we arrived. I was sad and angry that the surprise was ruined. The house also doesn’t look like the website photos and has several plumbing and appearance issues. Breakfast was disappointing too, with packaged croissants that were clearly from a discount supermarket, nowhere near fresh or high quality.
