House Garden

Our room was in the annex around the corner. The monuments are each at least a 30-minute to an hour walk away, but restaurants near the hotel were much better priced than those in central Rome. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. Public transport stops were outside, though we didn't feel brave enough to try it.

The room and shower were spotless, the cleanest we've had in years of travelling. Staff were polite and helpful, and regular buses are a five-minute walk away. We got a 72-hour pass for €22, which made getting around quick and easy. It's a small hotel set back from a road. The breakfast room is compact, and I would've liked healthy cereals on offer. Despite the garden name, I only saw a bench by the front door in the small outdoor area. There's no bar or food and drink service after breakfast.

There are buses right outside, and across the road you'll find good food and gelato if you fancy heading out. We had an amazing time and I got to tick something off my bucket list. The welcome was lovely, the staff were amazing, and breakfast was great. Get there early, though, because the room is small and seats fill up. Well done.

We wanted somewhere a little outside the city centre, and this was just right. The rooms were clean, the place felt friendly, and the staff were lovely and so helpful. Breakfast had lots of choice and was lovely, though the room gets busy, so it's best to arrive early. We'd definitely come back.
