For just a few days, 2-3, it's a decent place to stay in central Rome. The standard is average, and I have doubts about the cleanliness, especially in the bathroom. There's a kitchen, but the dishes and cutlery were dirty too. The value for money was adequate, especially for Rome.

We had to pay the city tax in cash, and housekeeping, which the booking.com listing said was mandatory, never came. The owner only spoke Vietnamese, with no English or other language we could use. The rooms inside the small flat were very noisy, and during our three-day stay we spent our time going around town, which was our only staff.

The kitchen is stocked with utensils and has a microwave and refrigerator, though I wasn't sure I'd want to cook there. The rooms have been remodeled and were adequately clean. The owner was friendly, despite speaking only basic Italian and no English. The old elevator still works and reaches the fourth floor. It's also convenient for getting around, with tram, metro, and bus stops close by, and the Colosseum about 20 minutes away.

The hostess was so welcoming and kind, and the price felt like good value. It's centrally placed near both the metro and Termini station. I'd recommend it.

Our prepaid booking was canceled because they had overbooked. The staff were rude, ignored our calls, and hung up without giving us any explanation.
