Authentic Sweet Home

Antonio looked after us perfectly, and I’d gladly return. The room was spacious and thoughtfully put together, and the house is easy to get around from. With the Line A Metro Station so close, Rome’s main sights are simple to reach. I’d definitely recommend it!

It’s a good value, with everything kept very clean and in good shape. The bathrooms are across the hall rather than in the bedrooms, but each room has its own private one. The location worked well for us, with a short walk to the subway or the FL regional rail line down the street. There’s also a modern outdoor mall nearby with some good places to eat and a small grocery store.

The owner was friendly and helpful, sharing a map, useful information about Rome, and tips on where to eat. The room was comfortably sized and had a little balcony. The bathroom is outside the room, but it’s private. There’s also a small shared kitchen and a pleasant living room with a balcony. The place is only about three minutes from the Metro. I’d recommend it.

Check-in after 7 pm isn’t possible, so a changed flight can leave you stranded, even if you told the place about it three days ahead. I finally got there the next day, only to find no electricity in my room and an air conditioner that didn’t work. This was the worst accommodation I’d stayed in for a long time. Save yourself the hassle and stay somewhere else.
