Mateo and his Mom were such warm, attentive hosts, and we were sorry to leave after our honeymoon stay. They kept the rooms and property clean, and breakfast was served downstairs. Mateo makes a great cappuccino, too. Some of the rooms can be arranged as a small apartment. We loved the service and the view.

The hotel has a lovely view, and the rooms were spacious and great. Getting there by car can be tricky on the narrow roads, so you’ll want to feel confident driving in Italy. The bus stop is a bit of a walk, though that didn’t bother us. Service was okay, but not the best. Breakfast could have been better: one day there were flies around some of the food, and some meat and cheese had been sitting out and didn’t look refrigerated. For the price, though, our stay was pleasant.

My fiancé and I both loved the calm, welcoming atmosphere. It was just what we wanted for a bit of peace. The hospitality was excellent, breakfast was really good, and all the areas were very clean. Such a great experience!

The rooms and balcony view were stunning, really the whole place was beautiful. We stayed only two nights and were so sad they went by so quickly. Highly, highly recommend!

Getting around can be a hassle. You need a car or motorbike, since buses may not stop or can be full, and taxis either won’t come up the mountain or cost 150€-160€. The staff can drive you somewhere for a fee. They did help us get around, but I’d recommend having a car. That aside, we had an excellent stay. The location is beautiful and romantic, with a pool, and the nearby town is idyllic, with a few excellent restaurants and the Path of the Gods starting nearby. The staff were magnificent: they cleaned the room daily and made breakfast to order, including omelet, pancetta, and cappuccino, plus fruit and cakes. Best hotel experience ever 💜
