Palazzo Lauritano

Antonio was friendly and really helpful, with great suggestions for nearby food and things to do. The hotel is about a 30-minute drive from Amalfi, and suited me well as a solo traveler looking for somewhere away from the crowds but still able to visit nearby towns. I only stayed one night and didn't need lots of space or a huge bed. This place fit my needs perfectly: it was comfortable and clean, had a balcony with nice views, and provided soap, shampoo, and towels. Breakfast was delicious too. Nuncia was so friendly and helpful, and the service made us feel right at home. We also loved Trullio the cat, who was so friendly and would join us for afternoon chats. Palazzo Lauritano is a historic place, with rooms kept in lovely style and all the modern amenities. We fell in love with our stay and with Agerola, a postcard town in the mountains above Amalfi. The views are amazing, and we loved the food and wine too. I'd recommend it to anyone planning a trip to this beautiful partof Italy.

I always enjoy staying overnight in Italy's small towns, and this place has me in love with it. The sea views are fantastic, and the terrace is a lovely spot for coffee, cards, breakfast, or just enjoying the fresh air. The bedroom was beautiful, with lovely decor and a dream of a ceiling. It came with a minibar, toiletries, and fresh water. The welcoming lady was very polite and pleasant, and the breakfast buffet had lots of choices. I'll be back soon.

Antonio manages the place and looks after guests with real care. He clearly loves making people feel happy and welcome. The building is beautiful, and the rooms are spacious and very clean. They have the feel of a nearly 300-year-old place, with modern facilities and plenty of comfort. It's great value, with the best breakfast choices. Highly recommended if you're visiting the Amalfi coast with your own car.
