Podere i laghi

The Parigi family gave us a special chance to make, cook, and bake pizza with our own hands. We also met a Belgian family who have been coming back almost every year for 13 years, which gave us a taste of international tourism. My family and I spent a happy, carefree week here, thanks to the owners’ warm, kind, and especially generous welcome. The place is beautiful, with a feeling of well-being and relaxation in every corner. The large pool was clean, and the rooms had a tasteful rural charm, from the furnishings to the linens. We visited San Gimignano, with its medieval skyscrapers, Certaldo, Boccaccio’s birthplace, and four wonderful art cities: Siena, Arezzo, Petrarch’s birthplace, Pisa, and Florence, just half an hour from the agriturismo. We also explored many charming small villages nearby, including Castellina in Chianti. I highly recommend Podere ai Laghi for families. We’d gladly return, despite the long drive from our wonderful Sicily to fantastic and illustrious Tuscany. Very, very good!

The apartment was beautiful and clean, in a well-renovated farmhouse, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a spacious living room. It’s a wonderful place, within easy reach of some of the most beautiful spots in Tuscany. Francesca, Paola, Paolo, and Massimo, thank you. You’re wonderful, incredibly kind people who made us feel right at home, as if we’d known each other for years. The welcome was unique. A heartfelt thanks again to all the staff at Podere i Laghi. The garden and pool were superb and very well maintained, and the location made it easy to visit the region, set in Chianti between Siena and Florence. We loved our stay at this family-run agriturismo. The warm welcome made us feel at home, and the hosts were friendly and generous. We can’t wait to come back.

We were two mothers with three children under four, and felt right at home. The little ones could play and burn off energy safely, which made this a great choice for small children. Paola, Paolo, Francesca, and Massimo were genuinely lovely and helpful. Perfect for a few relaxing days.
