We came here for some quiet and a chance to be around nature, and it really is a lovely, peaceful spot. The animals and the rooms with private terraces made it feel homey as soon as we arrived. It looks even better in person than in the photos. We still recommend it, and the surroundings are beautiful, with wine tastings, restaurants and paradiso nearby. A few things could be better. The pool gets very strong sun and has no shaded spot, even though an umbrella is available. When we asked, we were given a beach umbrella. It would be great if one could just be set up by the pool during the day. Staff availability also felt limited. The posted hours are 12-14u and 20-22u, but the door was still shut and we felt awkward disturbing anyone. It would be a real plus if guests could pop into the little bar for water or coffee during the day, especially since there isn't a shop nearby. Breakfast was okay, but there was a lot of sugar. Some filling basics like eggs, meat, vegetables or cheese would help, and since those are used for dinner, perhaps there could be less cake. We also heard staff shouting to each other while cleaning sometimes, and guests can hear it :p

Book ahead, as advised. We had really great service and an amazing four-course meal in a lovely setting. The ingredients and quality were so good that €40 each felt like a bargain. We would have happily paid twice as much.

The pasta was okay, but for the price there are better places to eat. The wine was watery and communicating with the staff was difficult. We also weren't given a menu, while the people beside us who spoke Italian got one without any trouble. They told us there was only one main dish left, but after we'd ordered we saw other dishes being ordered and served at nearby tables. A bit disappointing.

We arrived late, and after a brief discussion between the waiters they offered us a fixed menu for 25€ each. We accepted the reduced choice, but expected to be treated better. One waiter was grumpy with us, and the portions were ridiculously small and cold.

One of the best meals we've had in this part of Sardinia. The food just keeps coming, so arrive hungry. The whole team gave top-notch service too. Grazie mille!
