Our host was incredibly kind, and breakfast delivered right to the room each morning was a lovely touch. The place is central, pretty quiet even if you’re sensitive to noise, and we had a wonderful three-night stay. Definitely book it! A couple of small hiccups didn’t take away from the five-star experience. We were first given the wrong room, which was disappointing, and moved the next day. The room I’d booked was smaller, had no balcony, and its bathroom was outside the room. That was in the description, but I hadn’t paid attention or translated it from Italian, so that part was my fault and not a reflection on the host or hotel. You have to cross a small public hallway to use that bathroom, so I wouldn’t recommend booking that particular room. On our last day we asked for breakfast at 9:30, but it arrived at 8:40. I was a little upset because we’d hoped to sleep in. I think the host misread my message, since breakfast had come at 08:30 on the first two days. Still, it was a lovely stay. Thanks so much for your hospitality!

The service was warm and helpful, and breakfast at a nearby bar was good. Our room was in a beautiful historic building, tucked away from most of Naples’ bustle.

The location is hard to beat for exploring Naples on foot, and we’d happily stay here again. At Donna Elena, the rooms were lovely and spotless. Giorgio checked us in, shared plenty of information and recommendations, and was kind throughout. It was our first visit to the city, so that help was much appreciated.

Naples makes it hard to choose a place to stay, but this one worked out perfectly. Georgio was a great host, and the location in the historic center was just right. Our room was really large, with a high ceiling, and surprisingly quiet for the city center, which I appreciated because noise is always a worry for me. The bathroom was lovely and chic too. This is the place to be, without hesitation.

We visited Donna Elena for a couple of days in September, when it was still very warm. We loved having breakfast at the cafe, especially the great cappuccino and tasty croissant. The staff were helpful, and although we arrived late, Giorgio waited for us and shared interesting information about the city. The room was beautiful and cozy as well.
