I’d been reading the one-star reviews while sitting at the table and started to worry, but our visit on 25 August 2024 was top notch. We had a table with the beach in view and the sunset behind us, and the atmosphere was excellent. The waiter was lovely and checked that everything was okay. We ordered pizza and calamari fritti, and both were very good. It’s not Michelin star food, but there was nothing to complain about. We’d booked 40 minutes before opening and waited in the bar area until 7:30 pm. Maybe some people had a bad experience in the past or came with different expectations. Still, the average reviews don’t match what we found. With that view, I wonder if some reviews might even be fake. Keep up the good work!

Nice little place for an early Apéro. It was busy even in mid September, and service was pretty slow. You can see the restaurant gets priority, which is understandable.

The food was tasty and good quality. Maybe the bad reviews are old, or came from some angry Karens, but everything was great when I went.

The view is great, and the gelato is delicious. I’d go for the lemon. When we came back for gelato a second time, though, it was too warm and had started melting.

We finally got our food after waiting an hour and 45 minutes. It was okay, but not very good, and we won’t be back. We’d arrived in mid-July 2019 as a group of four without a reservation and were lucky to get one of the last tables. After 45 minutes with no service, we asked about ordering. We were told, loudly and patronizingly, three times that we had to wait our turn. It took an hour before we could order, and 15 minutes later our drinks went to a different table.
