Jatika Boutique Hotel

The food was a highlight at Jatika Boutique Hotel. Each dish was full of flavor and beautifully served, and the restaurant team was kind, professional, and attentive. The whole place was clean and well cared for. Staff throughout the hotel were warm and always happy to help. We had a lovely, relaxing stay by the sea and would happily recommend it.

We spent five nights here and would gladly return. The room had a lovely view of both the coast and the sea, and the hotel and restaurant have a stylish, modern look. Everyone was kind and helpful. Breakfast was especially nice thanks to the ladies and their homemade cake and focaccia. Dinner was tasty too, with a lovely view of the sea and sunset.

The bed was uncomfortable, and we were woken several times around 6 a.m. by the truck collecting rubbish, including glass, from the bins on the street outside our room. Our room was above the kitchen, and the noise continued until about 11:15 every night, making it impossible to sleep or relax. When we raised it, staff acted surprised and said we were imagining it. The restaurant manager laughed and said the kitchen worked until 10:30, though the restaurant was closing then and kitchen staff were cleaning until 11. I complained in person at 11 one night, but the next day the manager claimed everyone had left at 10:30. I had just spoken to them, so I don't understand how that could be true. We got no apology, only accusations that we were lying. I've never been treated so unprofessionally, and we wouldn't stay here again. We had booked two rooms with friends, one with a jacuzzi and one without, hoping to relax together, but were told we weren't allowed to use it because it was for two people only. The whole experience was very unpleasant, especially from a hotel described as four stars.

The hotel was clean and pleasant, with a lovely beach nearby. We enjoyed sitting at the restaurant overlooking the sea, and the food was good, with vegetarian choices that worked for us. The staff were so kind and friendly. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay.
