Villamarina

The houses sit higher up on a hill, with a beautiful sea view. It’s a very lovely place, and the host was really nice. Breakfast felt made with love.

We spent three days at this hotel and loved the quiet, slow pace and excellent views. The room was lovely, decorated in Sardegna's style, and the sunset was amazing. The staff were friendly, and breakfast had fresh, tasty bakery, toast, eggs, fruit, coffe, and cheese. Somehow I saw a rainbow in Villamarina twice in those three days, omg! Thanks for the experience. I really recommend this hotel. You must try it!

The communication was only in Italian, which is quite a problem when you're booking a room through Booking as an international traveler. We were offered a change to September or October, but that couldn't work because our child would be in school. Our flight was cancelled after we'd booked before Covid-19, and since the stay was non-refundable, they wouldn't give us even a partial refund despite the exceptional circumstances. They stuck to the policy, and it felt like money was all that mattered. It was really disappointing, like talking to a wall. When we finally travel to Sardinia, we won't stay at Villamarina.

The breakfast was amazing, with a great selection of coffee, juice, water, and all the things you'd expect in an Italian-style breakfast. The lady of the house was friendly, smiley, and helpful. The room was spotless and cleaned every day, with lovely furnishings and plenty of space. The double bed was comfortable and large, and the bathroom was roomy and modern. It's in a peaceful spot, and the sunsets are beautiful.
