Everything else was perfect, but the kiosk put me off returning. I went early a few days ago while the bar was open, but nobody was there. A very young guy eventually showed up and made me a terrible coffee. He spoke to me in a way I didn’t find very pleasant, so I don’t think I’ll go back.

After a week here, we ended up enjoying our stay, so I’ve raised my rating. We got used to the noise in the room, and there were no more problems getting a sunbed at the pool. The pool is really nice, and there are very few like it in this part of Sicily. The beach is lovely too, though it isn’t owned by the hotel, so two sunbeds and an umbrella cost €9. Having a dedicated parking spot was very convenient, since finding a space on the street is nearly impossible. At first, the apartment seemed like the noisiest place I’d ever stayed. We could hear people walking overhead, and a toilet flushing next door was so loud it woke us in the middle of the night. You also need a cap for the pool. There weren’t enough sunbeds for everyone, and they stayed reserved all day, so we couldn’t use them even when they looked empty.

The restaurant was the best part for me, and I also appreciated how attentive the staff were. They were very polite and keen to make the stay as close to perfect as possible. I spent five nice days here and really felt at home. The pool right in front of the room was perfect. Highly recommended.

I had a blast here with my parents and aunt when we stayed in 2009. The olive trees by the pool stick in my mind, along with the excellent views and easy beach access. It was German owned and operated. I’d go back, and I’d say the best time to visit is before July. Loved it!
