The host was welcoming and shared lots of useful information and advice. The place itself is spacious, lovely, and well equipped. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the old centre, while the temples are an easy drive away.

Fulvio made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. He showed us around, explained how the apartment worked, and gave us tips on places to see, where to eat typical dishes, and what to do in the evening. We were also greeted with sparkling wine, water for our arrival day, and sweets, a lovely start to our Sicilian holiday. We spent a relaxing weekend in Agrigento with my girlfriend at Antica Akragante. The apartment is beautiful just like the photos, with lots of thoughtful details in the room themes, colours, and paintings that tell the city’s story. There’s a splendid view of the Valley of the Temples from the apartment, and at night you can see the temples lit up all the way towards the sea. Fulvio was kind and available throughout our stay. We’d definitely stay with him again and recommend him to anyone passing through Agrigento.
I felt at home here, with a real Sicilian atmosphere and owners who welcomed me like family. My stay was at the Antica Akragante holiday home in Agrigento. The apartment was bright and nicely furnished, with a view over the valley. I’d highly recommend it.
The apartment has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a main bedroom, and a very comfortable kitchen. I was struck by how carefully each room was decorated around local landmarks, including the Scala dei Turchi in nearby Realmonte, the almond tree, and the Valley of the Temples. It has a refined touch, and worked well for a trip with friends. I think it would suit families too. Before arriving, I contacted the property manager about getting there. He checked the situation after mentioning temporary problems on the line, and saved me from wasting money on a train ticket from the airport to Palermo Central Station. We ended up taking the local bus to Palermo Central Station and then the train to Agrigento. The apartment is in central Agrigento, just steps from Viale della Vittoria, the main nightlife area, and the busier Via Atenea. My stay in ancient Akragas with my friends was a unique one.
From the windows you can see the Valley of the Temples and the sea in the distance. The apartment is spacious, bright, and well equipped, and the owner was friendly and helpful. It’s a little way from the city centre, but there’s everything you need nearby. For anyone travelling by car, the location is ideal, with parking right outside, which is hard to find in Sicily.
