Both apartments had everything we needed, and the bathrooms were very modern. We stayed in both suites for one night as a family of five and loved it. The views in both directions were stunning, toward the valle dei templi and the historic city center. The host was really friendly and made us a delicious breakfast. The location is perfect, just a minute from the city center, and we didn’t find it noisy at all, despite what some other guests had said. We’d definitely come back.

We were told that staying here gave us a permit to drive and park in the center. That was apparently wrong: the city sent fines to the rental agency, which charged us 122 euros. After the owner responded, I want to clarify that the fines were for driving into the old center, not for parking. A few other cars were using those streets, and driving in was necessary to reach the property. The owner had encouraged us to do it and presented it as a selling point of his B&B. I don’t know how residents are allowed to drive there, whether they have to register their license plates with the police in advance or meet some other requirement. We didn’t meet the requirements because we were misled.

The bed was stained and had hair on it, the toilet smelled, and the place was dirty everywhere. The owner smokes in the room. Worst apartment in Italy. Don’t pay in advance: if you don’t like something, you won’t get a refund and will be kicked out onto the street.

The views were amazing, and the place was super clean. Alfonso was wonderful and shared local information with us. Highly recommended 😊

The location was perfect and the view was great. Breakfast was amazing too. This was the best B&B on my trip to Sicily.
