B&B Socrate

The rooms were modern, clean, and well equipped, and the kitchen was handy. It’s well located, with a great host and a good breakfast. Thank you 😀

The room and building get 4 stars from me, but the host gets 6. Service was lovely and patient, the advice was good, and breakfast was great.

The room was nice and clean, but the breakfast was terrible. We weren’t clearly told that the rooms are on the third floor and there’s no elevator. At breakfast we found open jars of jam, soft drinks, and juices that could have been open for who knows how long, along with food that had been bought and left there, as the photos show. I wrote to the host about it, and he replied, “For €60 for an adult and a child for one night, what could you expect?” He was rude, and we don’t recommend this place. Unfortunately, he won’t let me add photos.

Each morning we had a generous breakfast with a good range of fresh local produce, and the owner was very helpful with tips on what to see and where to eat. The room was modern, spotless, and had every comfort. Service was excellent, parking was easy, and the location worked well, close to the Valley of the Temples and not far from the historic center. We had a truly pleasant stay and highly recommend it.
