B&B Sogni d'oro

The rooms were roomy, stylishly furnished, and spotlessly clean, and the stay was comfortable and memorable. The owner knew the area well and helped us plan our two-day itinerary. It’s a short walk to the old town’s main sights, as well as an interesting range of bars and great restaurants. Many thanks for a lovely stay.

The host was really accommodating, taking time to answer our questions and explain the B&B and parking. Our GPS couldn't get us there, so he came to the rescue and guided us the rest of the way. The place itself is very nice. I'd travel light in Sicily unless you enjoy hauling suitcases around.

The rooftop is a lovely place to spend the evening. I sat up there taking photos of the night sky, and it was peaceful. I slept well, and the rooms were a good size with a nice bathroom. There are two great roof terraces, and in summer breakfast is served on the upper one, with views across town toward the ocean. Staff make a nice breakfast each morning. My request for tea initially brought me a cappuccino, but after an awkward moment I showed a picture with Google Image search. The staff member looked embarrassed, quickly boiled water, and found tea bags. A lovely modern B&B, and I'd recommend it for a visit to Agrigento and The Valley of the Temples.

The room was clean, fresh, and new, with strong Wi-Fi, hot shower water, and drinking water available. We also liked the outdoor sitting area and breakfast on the roof. The owner met us in person and was very kind and considerate. Walking around town in the evening was enjoyable too. It was a perfect one-night stop on our way to Syracuse. Agrigento is a must on a Sicily tour, and I'd strongly suggest getting a guide for the ruins since there's so much to learn.
