Nonna Alda Cottage

The owner was kind and quick to respond, and the apartments are good value. They’re in a handy location between Spoleto and Montefalco, with warm rooms and comfortable beds. The equipment could be better, especially when a group needs a table. The pots, pans, and chairs felt flimsy, and the benches were broken. There were no breakfast cups.

We were walking the Camino de San Francesco and had run out of food, so our one-night stay came with some difficulties. Mr. Vincenzo stepped in and sorted out all our problems. It was truly wonderful. Thanks again ❤️

We spent three nights here as a family with two other couples, nine people and one dog altogether, and there was loads of room. The owners were very kind and helpful, and it was excellent value for money. The two apartments had roomy, well-equipped bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, clean, fresh-smelling linens, toiletries, and a proper hairdryer. Both also had kitchens with what we needed to make breakfast or a meal, and we loved having a big living room where we could all spend time together. The rooms were clean, comfortable, warm, and had controls so we could set the temperature ourselves. There was secure parking on the property, free WiFi, and a fenced garden. The kitchens had recycling bins, a dishwasher, oven, microwave, kettle, and coffee maker; there was also a washing machine, ironing board, and iron. The quiet location made it easy to get to Spoleto, Assisi, and Spello. Rain kept us from enjoying the lovely garden as much as we'd hoped. I'll keep this place in mind for future trips, especially since it must be enchanting in spring!
