The rooms are a little small, but perfectly okay. It's an easy walk into the town center, which is well worth seeing. The hotel is charming, and the terrace alone makes it worthwhile, with lovely valley views over a drink or breakfast.

It's a very quiet, cozy place just off the main square, with really comfortable beds and a wonderful breakfast in the dining room. The owner is lovely, and the rooftop terrace has great views. It feels like staying in a private palace or home, and I'd happily return next time I'm in the area. Just be aware there's no elevator and the main area is up more than two long flights of stairs. They do help with luggage.

Google Maps doesn't show the easiest route here. From the train station, you can walk about 10 minutes, then take a combination of moving walkways and an elevator to get close to the hotel. The town has three such systems, which make getting uphill much easier. The hotel itself sits high in Spoleto's old town with great valley views, spacious rooms, good breakfast and excellent service.

The terrace and its beautifully maintained garden were a real highlight, and breakfast out there was great. The service was consistently good. This is a lovely hotel, and the restoration of the old building was done with wonderful attention to detail and quality. We loved our stay.

Small, but it has what you need, and it really feels like Italy. The rooftop garden is done in a very Italian style and is perfect for breakfast outside. There's no restaurant, and it may not suit you if you want a gym or jacuzzi.
