Be careful about giving the owner your credit card details. I arranged to stay for two months from the time I first contacted the owner, but after I left, the owner charged my card for three months without telling me. They said the minimum stay was three months and showed me a website I’d never seen, then added another 101 euro for “damage.” None of these charges came with any notice. Fortunately, I got the money back with help from the police and my bank. Firenze is such a lovely city, and this place brought shame to its name.

10/10
The place is safe, clean, tidy, and cozy, and it seems newly renovated. The host was really nice. It’s close to the city center and Santa Novella train station, with historic sights reachable in at least 10 minutes.
