Wine Apartments Florence Pinot

The online check-in took ages and was a struggle for days beforehand. It required selfies and documents in JPG format only. When we arrived, the main door code didn't work. We waited outside for over 40 minutes and made exactly 22 calls to the number in the check-in details, but nobody answered. In the end, we had to ask people who live in the building to let us in. I managed to reach the manager the next day, after we were back home. He was extremely rude and said the door worked, and that if I couldn't open it, it wasn't his problem. I was shocked by the arrogance. We paid 40 euros for cleaning despite staying just one night, and they still asked us to wash the dishes and take out the garbage. I'll never book an apartment with them again.

The spot is handy for tourist attractions, but there was bothersome noise from people at night, merchants moving around early in the morning, tourists, and traffic. One unusual thing is that you need a mobile phone to open both the front door and the room.

A fantastic, spacious, and very clean apartment. You can see Giotto's bell tower right from the window!
