I'm only getting around to writing this now, long after my visit, after coming across the apartment on maps. The top floor has a spacious terrace, and the owners, a father and daughter, were very welcoming, though I never met the daughter. I enjoyed chatting with Senior Guido even though we didn't share a language. Breakfast was fantastic, and the help with anything I needed was outstanding. The rooms aren't huge, but they're perfectly adequate. With a location like this, you're hardly there just to sit in your room.

The terrace was a real highlight, roomy enough to relax on and spend evenings outdoors. San Leone is well placed for getting around and is at the heart of summer life, so we could leave the car parked in the courtyard. Inside, the small house was spotless and had everything we needed, plus fresh fruit, water, and juices. Breakfast, with homemade cakes, was just right. Mr. Guido and his daughter Chiara were a lovely, very helpful family.

We spent a week here and came away with a piece of our heart on that terrace. The owners put so much love into everything and treated us with real warmth and thoughtfulness. The property is lovely, with a very spacious, pleasant terrace and care given to every detail.
