Cleanliness was the strongest point for me. The rooms, sheets, bathroom and towels were all in perfect condition, so credit to the staff. The place may suit people who are flexible, but some of the service details in the description didn’t match what I found. I booked because I understood that proper private parking was available on-site. As of August 25th 2025, the listing said, "Private parking is available on-site." From the attached image, though, the parking area is an old, narrow hallway that’s also used as a garbage dump. My car could only be left at the front, blocking pedestrian access. Cars are parked in a line, and the description doesn’t mention that you’re expected to leave your keys so an employee can move them if another car needs to get in or out. I wouldn’t leave my keys for obvious reasons. It never even occurred to me, and I’ve said that ten times. Even for this reason, I’m told it isn’t true. It feels like you’d need to be registered like on Big Brother, though even that wouldn’t be necessary. This kind of service can’t be handled casually: the car should be photographed properly when handed over, and there are rules to follow. Because I didn’t leave the keys, I had to spend a lot of time looking for a suitable space on the street. Parking in that area is already difficult, with parking discs and limited spaces. I was told there was another car park, but I don’t leave my car in a restricted traffic zone when I’m not a resident. I’m a respectable, honest person. The bathroom had another issue. I reported as soon as I arrived that water was trickling from the bidet, but it was never fixed. I can understand that repairs take skill and time, but offering bathrooms that don’t work properly feels sloppy. The rooms were also very small, and sharing bathroom facilities made them uncomfortable. For breakfast, they ask guests to fill out a list with their preferences and quantities, but what you request isn’t actually respected. The products seemed high quality, though the service needs a complete overhaul. Always ask for a receipt for the tourist tax. So I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you arrive by car. It may be fine if you can adapt and put up with some bathroom problems. I don’t know how nicely they’ll respond, but I’ll let it slide. I don’t care. I’ll actually laugh louder than them.

The woman who greeted us was polite, gentle and full of useful information, and the rooms were okay. Breakfast was the problem. They’d asked us the day before what we wanted, but when we arrived ten minutes early, nothing at all was ready. The staff seemed uncomfortable that we’d come a little ahead of time and worked very slowly while singing. We couldn’t eat until 8:10, and had to leave for Mass. I can’t recommend the place when breakfast matters so much for somewhere calling itself a Bed and Breakfast.

The rooftop terrace was the special part for us. The views are amazing, and they took us up when we arrived to point out places of interest. Breakfast is served there too, with lots of delicious local food to try while taking in the scenery. The room was comfortable, and the bathroom had a lovely shower. We also got a warm welcome and helpful ideas about where to eat, what to see and how to enjoy our stay. The B&B is right in the heart of Agrigento, at the bottom of the main street, so you can step straight out and wander up it. A brilliant little place.

Benji and Giuseppe were the highlight of our stay. They’re warm, approachable and knowledgeable, and clearly love their city. They were always happy to help. The rooms were comfortable, clean and pleasant, and breakfast was very good, especially their mom’s homemade orange marmelade. The rooftop terrace has a fantastic view, and breakfast is served there when the weather allows. The location is great too.

Benji and his family made us feel at home. They were so welcoming, friendly, helpful and professional, and we were sad to leave them and Agrigento. The B&B is in the old town, with the lively main street and other sights right nearby, and the Valley of the Temples easy to reach. Our room and the shared bathroom were spotless, comfortable, and everything worked well. We also loved the breakfast, with delicious local organic produce. We’d definitely recommend it and would come back.
