The human side made this stay especially memorable. Rita was such a sunny, wonderful host: communication was easy, she let me check in much earlier because the room was free the night before, brought pastries and a croissant for breakfast, and gave me a lift to the bus station when I left. I’m so grateful for those thoughtful moments. The room itself exceeded my expectations. After six noisy, hectic nights in Palermo, this felt peaceful and quiet. Mine faced the back of the building, away from traffic, and the soundproofing seemed very good too. It had only opened a month earlier, and everything felt new, carefully designed, tasteful, practical, and comfortable. I especially loved the shower, bed, and Nespresso coffee machine. The look and feel were luxurious. Traveling alone without a car, I found the location ideal between the Valley of the Temples and the old town, both easy to reach on foot. There’s also a very good supermarket literally a minute away behind the building. I can’t think of a single negative, and the quality for the price was unbeatable.
