I found the small room quite cramped. The bed was broken, and the hot water wasn't working properly. The window barely opens, and since the room is on the ground floor facing the street, opening it wouldn't really make sense anyway. The other rooms may be much better. I don't think the host rents this small room very often.

There was supposed to be parking, but the place was in the mountains, in the historic center. I was traveling with my 78-year-old mother and three suitcases for a month-long trip, and he expected us to walk ten minutes up some stairs. He hadn't contacted me about the price either, so I had to reach out myself when I was at the door. I never got any messages from the host, and he refused to refund my money. Very unsympathetic.

The room was clean and just right for a couple. It's only steps from the center, and Fabio, the owner, gave us an impeccable welcome. He led us on his scooter through Agrigento's alleys so we could park as close as possible and unload our bags easily. He also took the time to tell us about the city and which bars, restaurants, and beaches to visit.
