Holiday Home Terra Di Mare

The garden is lovely, with sea views, tables, chairs, and sunbeds. My room was okay, but the window in the middle of the bathroom really bothered me. Breakfast was fine until other guests arrived; one morning, there was nothing left. The place is only accessible by car, as is the nearest beach, and the location isn’t great, right by a noisy main road. I wouldn’t recommend it.

There are so many nice places to stay in Sicily, and this definitely wasn’t one of them. The Google Maps location was wrong, and the host didn’t answer our calls, so it was hard to find. Once there, we found him unhelpful and not very nice. It felt like visiting a guy we’d met by chance and didn’t particularly like, who was only hosting us because he had to. In the host Domenico’s reply, I counted at least three incorrect “facts,” and found it very judgmental. There’s more I could say, but I’ll leave it there.

I was there for work and appreciated the owners’ courtesy, helpfulness, and quick responses, along with the property’s strategic location. The welcome and service quality were excellent. The renovated bathroom deserves a mention too. That may sound like a small thing, but I appreciated the water flow and how efficiently the mixer tap worked. I plan to come back with my family to see the beautiful Valley of the Temples and explore the extraordinary province of Agrigento, which has so much to offer visitors.
